Scouts grow fast—give their gear another adventure! The Pack 42 Gear Exchange helps families save on gently used uniforms, handbooks, and other Scouting essentials while giving outgrown gear a second life. Families who donate gear receive Pack 42 Scout Cash to put toward future pack dues or other Scouting activities. Whether you’re outfitting your Scout or passing along what they’ve outgrown, the exchange helps your family’s Scouting budget go further.

How it works

Parents donate unneeded gear.
Donate the scout uniforms and other essentials that your scout has outgrown or no longer applicable. You can elect for it to receive Pack 42 “scout cash” (a credit we keep that you can use to offset future pack dues or other paid activities) or simply as a donation for other Pack scouts.

We’ll coordinate a handoff and payment (zelle preferred, cash or check ok too), usually at an upcoming pack meeting.

First come, first served on requests. Not a guarantee item will be available if we weren’t able to update website soon enough. Your contact information will be sent privately to the coordinator and won’t appear on this page.
Have any outgrown uniform pieces or other items?
Let us know!
If your Pack 42 scout has outgrown any uniform items or they no longer need items due to moving up in rank (e.g., rank-specific hats, handbook, neckerchiefs & slides), then let pack leadership know (just shoot us an email) with the items you have. Then bring them to an upcoming den or pack meeting and we’ll get the inventory up on this site for other Pack parents looking for those items.
For donating the items back for other Pack scouts to be able to use at discounted prices, we’ll credit your scout’s Pack 42 “Scout Cash” balance with the same amount as the item sells for.
