When & Where?
Dates: July 13-17
Belk Scout Camp in Midland, North Carolina
Drop-Off: 8:30 - 8:45 AM
Pick-Up: 4:30 - 5:00 PM
This is a drop off day camp style event, this event works best with us car pooling our scouts to camp each day. One adult is required to be registered and volunteer for every 4 Scouts attending so we will absolutely need adult volunteers!!! its important to note that unless you have a Rising Tiger you likely WILL NOT end up with your scout all day.
What do i mean by Rising? Well i’m glad you asked! by the time this camp occurs your Scouts will have crossed over into the next rank but will not yet have started that program year, that makes them “Rising”, If your scout is a Tiger now they would be a Rising Wolf and that is how we would register them for camp!
Camp offers many program facilities including a lake for fishing, shooting sport areas for BB and archery, a 40-foot climbing tower, a 25-meter swimming pool, and a full lunch service dining hall (air conditioning and coffee!).
Our Scouts may be shuffled into new Dens mixed with other packs scouts! this is an amazing opportunity to meet new people and make new friends!!!
Calling All Volunteers: Help Make Cub Scout Day Camp a Success!
We need amazing adult volunteers to help bring our programs to life! Whether you can lend a hand for a day or all five, your time and support will make a huge impact on creating an unforgettable experience for our Scouts.
Why Volunteer?
Be part of the excitement and adventure!
Help Scouts build skills, confidence, and friendships.
Enjoy a fun-filled camp experience (lunch and snacks included!).
Fulfill leadership or service hours.
There are a variety of ways to help, from leading activities to assisting with setup, meals, or logistics. No prior experience needed—just a willingness to have fun and support our Scouts!
Ready to join the team? Let us know your availability, and we’ll find the perfect spot for you! Together, we’ll make this camp one for the record books!
T-shirts, knives, water bottle stickers and other merchandise as well as snacks and beverages will be for sale at the Trading Post at Camporee. Scouts should bring money if they would like to make a purchase. Cards and cash will be accepted.

Warbirds Over Monroe Air Show
Pack 42 Friends and Family,
One of my many interests is aviation if there is an airshow or a museum within a few hours of where I am I try to go, Lucas, my Wife, and I have gone to the Warbirds Over Monroe Air Show in Monroe each year since we moved here. It is a fantastic small locally put on show that focuses on propeller driven aircraft and WW2 warbirds.
To be clear we would love for you all to join us at the show as friends, this is not an official scout thing so you will need to purchase your own tickets (see link below). We plan to arrive around 11am on 11/8, flying starts around noon and goes till 5.
If you are thinking of joining us please let me know and I'll give a bit more details on where we typically park and we can coordinate a meetup. - Cubmaster Ripson
General Admission tickets for the event are $20 for adults, $15 for youth ages 12- 18, and $5 for current and former military service men and women. Children under 12 are FREE.
